Anne McDermott performed in the sold-out 

"Best of Generation Women" storytelling show at Joe's Pub in February 2022, and has told stories at The Moth, Taboo Tales, and WORD! among others. She's also performed at popular NYC comedy clubs such as the Comedy Cellar, Broadway Comedy Club, Eastville Comedy Club and was recently awarded a residency in the prestigious corner of her living room.

Her writing has appeared in The New York Times,

The Daily Beast, The Belladonna Comedy, NY Press and on dirty car windows.  Her solo show "Temp to Perm" was created with Emmy Award winning writer, Matt Hoverman, and performed in NYC.

Her best days are spent rubbing dogs' bellies in Prospect Park.
